European Qualification Framework (EQF)

EQF is a single European reference framework that facilitates the understanding, comparison, and recognition of qualifications across various European nations and systems.

The French national professional qualifications framework has eight levels of qualification and matches with EQF.

.

Compare and recognise

It makes it easier to determine the degree of qualifications in other European nations. This strengthens the foundation for evaluating and recognizing credentials across international borders.

Better moving

It will be easier for students and the general public to relocate to another nation for study or employment. Cross-border mobility is supported by this.

France is involved

France, an EU Member, works toward implementing the EQF. The EQF works together with other European and international instruments supporting the recognition of qualifications.
